Five things you didn’t know about Dejan Majstorovic

If Dejan Majstorovic had fulfilled his childhood dream, the 3×3 would not have one of the best shooters in the game. Luckily for all of us, that didn’t happen and Maestro made a name for himself in the world of streetball with crazy shots, two-pointers from impossible positions, buzzer beaters and generally – with fantastic playing. We are familiar with what Novi Sad Al Wahda’s “Sniper” can do on the court, now he decided to tell us five less known facts about him.

1. He wanted to be a soccer player

“I played a soccer seven years, and I dreamed of playing for Red Star and be like Dejan Stankovic, one of the most famous Serbian soccer players. Thank God, when I was 14 years old, I realized that I am not that good soccer player.”

2. If you can’t beat him

“Did you know that I beat my teammates Savic, Zdero and Bulut four times with four different teams 😀 and that’s why they called me to play with them? 😀

3. He is killing soccer on PlayStation

“In my free time I like to “destroy” our coach Danilo Lukic in Pro Evolution Soccer on Sony PlayStation, 😀 and besides that, I love to play table tennis.”

4. He likes string music in the off-season

“During the off-season, I like to relax with my friends – enjoy good food and listen to tambura players.” 😎

Tambura is a folk instrument with strings mostly used in Serbia and Bulgaria. Tambura ensembles are very popular in Novi Sad and Vojvodina.

5. He is a friendly guy

“I enjoy playing any kind of board games with my friends and teammates, I have a competitive spirit and I am a bad loser even though it rarely happens.”  😀
